An organisational carbon footprint calculation was carried out for Logalty Group, a trusted digital services provider. The project included a complete analysis of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, as well as the development of a decarbonisation plan adapted to its activity and value chain.
The challenge
Logalty is a leading company in the field of digital trust, specialising in electronic certification, digital identification, digital signature of documents and electronic communications. Its activity generates a low direct footprint (Scopes 1 and 2) reflecting a digital, efficient and energy-optimised business model.
True to its commitment to sustainability, the company has sought to identify and quantify the indirect emissions (Scope 3) of contracted services and professional travel, thus providing a holistic view to better understand the value chain and anticipate future environmental challenges.
The solution
The calculation has been developed according to the GHG Protocol guidelines and with the methodological support of Zirkel. Thanks to close collaboration with the Logalty team and good data organisation, it was possible to collect and process key indicators of indirect emissions. The result is a robust and traceable measurement of the overall corporate carbon footprint.
Value contributed
Logalty now has a reliable and verified measurement of its carbon footprint and a plan aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) criteria to further advance its coherent and responsible climate strategy.
This work reinforces the company's commitment to sustainability and transparency. The initiative not only complies with current regulatory requirements and reputations, but also positions the company to Logalty as an active agent to mitigate climate change
