In order to respond to the requirements of its customers, it has asked us to prepare the EPDs for five of its most important product families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The solution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to successfully address the development of the five DAPs\/EPDs within the established timeframe, a work plan with the following phases has been defined:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lifecycle modelling of each product family<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selection of the product category rule (PCR)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collection of life cycle data, from the manufacture of components to the end-of-life phase of luminaires.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carrying out the LCA\/LCA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verification of the LCA\/LCA study<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Publication of the PD\/EPD<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Value contributed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Increasingly, construction projects require material suppliers to provide environmental product information by means of certified labels. EPD\/EPD are Type III environmental labels, which transparently and reliably provide the environmental profile of a product or product family.
